The Uetliberg is Zurich’s local mountain. From here, you can overlook the city, the lake, and catch a glimpse of the Alps.

This excursion destination is particularly popular in November, as the Uetliberg summit is often above Zurich’s high fog cover. In winter, the hiking trails are converted into toboggan runs, while in summer the mountain is a popular starting point for signposted hikes and a mountain bike trail.
